Oregon Picture Jasper Dog Tags and Beads!

Here is some new work I've done with Oregon picture jaspers. They get their specific names based on the location they're found in. Top left two are Owyhee and the the top right group is Rocky Butte. Bottom left are (I think) Wild Horse and bottom right Succor Creek. I love how the images in many ways mimic the landscapes in which they're found.

Last year In Tucson I got some specimens of druzy azurite from Morocco. Some show malachite as well. Here are four focal beads I just made using that material... Prices are $48, $78, $68, and $72 for the heart. All have 2.5mm drill holes.
Chrysanthemum Stone (Porphyry) from the Pacific Northwet

These focal beads were all made with material from the same piece of rough, which was found somewhere here in the Pacific Northwet. It's a porphyry and what we're seeing is basiclally feldspar crystal clusters included in a black basalt. When the clusters look like flowers it's called Chrysanthemum Stone and when they look like more random it's usually called Chinese Writing Rock or Calligraphy Stone. All better marketing names than porphyry! These will be listed soon, in the $30-$40 range, but if you're interested and direct message me BEFORE they get listed, I'll let any of them go for $25...
