While I think that our state gem, the Oregon sunstone, is perfectly lovely, they are smaller, less flashy, and much more expensive than the varieties of sunstone coming out of Tanzania these days. I'm hooked!
New Stripey Bumblebee Jasper Focal Beads
Some new work I just did in Bumblebee Jasper from Java. It's really a travertine which formed in a hot springs. The yellow is from sulfur inclusions and the orange comes from orpiment.
