DVH Bumble Bee Jasper Calcite Cabochon 2 Sided 49x37x6 (4078)

I hand cut this one of a kind freeform cabochon out of natural Bumblebee "jasper" collected from a mine on the island of Java in Indonesia. It is actually a variety of calcite that forms from the flowing waters of hot springs at the base of a volcanoe and it is NOT a true jasper, but many incorrectly call it a jasper. The colors occur naturally from minerals in the hot springs that formed the stone. Measurements in the title.
