DVH sz 7 Nephrite Jade Sterling Silver Ring Handmade By My Dad (5688)

This ring was made by my father as a gift for my mother when he and I were taking silver smithing classes together in the late 70's.  He cut the stone himself out of a very dark green nephrite jade.  It IS sterling but my dad forgot to stamp it!  Both my parents passed in the mid 80's. 

PRIVATE COLLECTION items are things that have special meaning to me and have been in my personal collection for decades.  I've realized that I really want a photo of the item and the story of the item but don't need to the piece myself anymore.  Objects have lives, they are witness to things.  I hope this piece finds a nice new home.  More will be revealed.
