DVH Fossil Wooly Mammoth Molar Heart Bead Pendant 30x25x13mm (5996)

DVH Fossil Wooly Mammoth Molar Heart Bead Pendant 30x25x13mm (5996)

$ 57.99

This is one of the very last fossil mammoth molar bead pendants from my private stash—and due to platform restrictions, it’s only available here on Shopify. Both eBay and Etsy banned the sale of all animal-derived materials years ago, even those from extinct species like mammoths.

I hand cut this one-of-a-kind freeform bead pendant from genuine fossilized Woolly Mammoth molar collected in Alaska. Measurements are in the title (in millimeters), and it features a 2.5mm drill hole to fit most cords and chains. CHAIN NOT INCLUDED.

This material is naturally beautiful and subtly stabilized with resin for durability—but as with all organic gemstones, keep it away from intense moisture, extreme heat, or prolonged exposure to sun. The coloration is natural unless otherwise stated in the title.

Woolly Mammoth teeth are found along riverbanks, uncovered by miners removing overburden, or discovered by dedicated fossil hunters scouring the Alaskan tundra. These majestic creatures went extinct over 10,000 years ago, and using their fossilized remains in art or jewelry does not harm any living or endangered species.

Metaphysically, mammoth tooth is said to connect us with ancestral wisdom and Earth’s deep time—helping us reckon with the emotional and spiritual weight of mega-mammal extinctions and ecological grief.

Please note: Fossil ivory, teeth, and bone from mammoth and walrus are legal to buy, sell, and wear in most of the U.S., but sales are restricted in NY, NJ, CA, and HI. We do not ship to those states or internationally.

Thanks for honoring deep-time beauty and ancient memory.
