I crafted this bead using a stunning and vivid stone known as Sonora Sunrise, a striking material that may blend any combination of vibrant sky-blue chrysocolla, fiery orange-red cuprite, and deep black tenorite. Occasionally, you’ll also find tiny green specks—likely brochantite—adding even more magic to the mix. Some dealers believe the massive blue may be brochantite rather than chrysocolla, but they’re all copper-based minerals, spun together in divine mystery by God/dess at the moment of their creation! This rare material came from a now-closed copper mine in Sonora, Mexico and has only been on the market since around 2007.
