The items labeled DVH/PC are pieces from my PRIVATE COLLECTION that I’ve made and chosen to keep for myself over the years. They are stored at my home, cherished, and worn semi-regularly. These pieces represent a deeper connection for me, and though they’re not readily available for sale, I wanted to share them with a wider audience who might appreciate their beauty as much as I do. I know that, in time, I’ll let them go—because, as with everything, we must eventually release our attachments.

The prices you see reflect how much I value these creations. I kept these pieces because there was something special and different about them from all the other pieces I cut.  While they are priced higher than my usual retail pieces, that’s simply a reflection of the energy and affection I’ve poured into them.   Some may be priced "not to sell," but eventually..., as all things have their season, they'll be sold or given away. Just like the timeless wisdom of Ecclesiastes, “A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing.” When the time is right, they’ll find their way to new homes, where they’ll be cherished once more. I'm learning new ways to embrace the journey of letting go.

My Healed Broken Heart series features one-of-a-kind bead pendants that I have made by hand from natural, untreated stones that have been naturally fractured and beautifully healed by nature, all in geological time—celebrating resilience, transformation, and the art of becoming whole again. I crafted this bead using a stunning and vivid stone known as Sonora Sunrise, a striking material that may blend any combination of vibrant sky-blue chrysocolla, fiery orange-red cuprite, and deep black tenorite. Occasionally, you’ll also find tiny green specks—likely brochantite—adding even more magic to the mix. Some dealers believe the massive blue may be brochantite rather than chrysocolla, but they’re all copper-based minerals, spun together in divine mystery by God/dess at the moment of their creation! This rare material came from a now-closed copper mine in Sonora, Mexico and has only been on the market since around 2007. Compare with other listings online and you'll see—DVHdesigns' cut Sonora Sunrise stands out. I’ve never seen anyone else craft bead pendants from this stone quite like I do.
