DVH Fairy Stone Concretion Bead Pendant Goddess Rock Quebec 43X30X14 (4666)
Natural stone formation with a 2.5mm drill hole to be worn as a bead pendant. Measurements in title in millimeters. CHAIN NOT INCLUDED. I found one vendor out of all of the gem & mineral trade shows Tucson that had lots of these Fairy stones (aka Goddess Stones) and I picked through thousands to get only the best quality with the most dramatic forms. Then I drilled them so that they can be worn as a lucky charm pendant. Color may darken up from your body oils as you handle it. This is natural stone formation, a calcium carbonate concretion rich in silica, found in the Harricana River in Quebec, Canada. Some of the native Algonquin people of the area and many others believe that these stones protect against bad spirits and bring good health and prosperity. Geologically they are very young and formed in recent millenia. Little lines and squiggles on the back are thought to be the fossil remains of the roots of a shallow swamp plant, probably horsetail grass, around which these concretions originally formed, showing the interconnection between living things and rocks. They have a strong connection to the healing energies of the planet.
