DVH/PC 50ct Australian Jelly Crystal Opal Bead (Repaired) Purple Blue Green 60x18x8mm (5851)

This stunning 50-carat natural Australian jelly crystal opal bead was hand-cut by me from high-quality rough several years ago. It features a gorgeous play of color with purple, blue, and green flashes, characteristic of fine opal from Australia.

I originally sold this bead to a dear friend and bead collector, but over time, it endured a couple of unfortunate drops. After each break, I carefully repaired, resanded, and polished the bead, ensuring both durability and aesthetic integrity. The repaired areas are now actually stronger, though one fracture near the drill hole is more visible. Despite this, the bead still displays its vibrant color and natural beauty.

When my friend passed away, much of her collection came back to me, and I have kept this bead in my private collection for several years as a sentimental piece. However, I have now decided to let it go in the hope that it will find a new home with someone who will appreciate its unique beauty and history.
